Love is just LOVE...

One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving. – Paulo Coelho
(From the Book ‘The Alchemist’)

Love is something you can't explain. It is something you feel. It cannot be described in a few words or even a few sentences. You can't define love. You just love someone but you don’t know why? It is something you feel in every inch of your body and something that fills up your heart. It isn’t something that always makes sense.

I have only had single love in my life, so you would think I couldn’t possibly know what love is. Probably to your surprise, I do. Like I said, you can’t explain love. You can try to describe to someone, how it feels, but they wouldn't really know how you feel. To know what it is like, it has to happen. You cannot see it and it cannot be heard. When it happens, you just sort of know it. You are happy all of the time and feel as if nothing could go wrong.

There are many different forms of love, though. There is family love, which you have towards your parents, siblings and grandparents. Then, there is friend love, which is just caring about and looking out for your friends. And then there is something call ‘Love’. It is love that you share with a person that you care so much about, you would die for them. You would do anything to please them or make them love you more. It is something that you feel if you lose it, you will not be able to survive.

I have had people ask me “why do you love him?” and my answer is that “I just do.” I don’t know, it doesn’t matter, I don’t have a list of reasons why. You like this person because of what they are, and you love them despite what they are not. Love is love. You don’t have to explain it. You feel it.  Love is unexplainable and it is supposed to be that way. It is that mystery that makes love the best feeling that there ever was.

How does it feel to love someone? Do you know what you have is real? The things like the excitement, the fear, the sweaty palms and overwhelming emotion at his smile, laugh, touch is what love is? I do not know. What I know is, the feeling I am experiencing is real and valid and beautiful. I am choosing not to define, but to feel and enjoy it.
