What we saw then...What we miss now...Part 2

Popeye the Sailor : This cartoon was the sole reason kids would finish the spinach on their plates. There wasn't too much super strength happening along the way, but that didn't stop us believing. Watching him defend Olive Oyl and keep big bad Bluto away was a favourite pastime.

Road Runner :  In this cartoons, the Coyote repeatedly attempts to catch and subsequently eat the Road Runner, a fast running ground bird, but is never successful. Coyote uses absurdly complex contraptions and elaborate plans to pursue his prey, resulting in his devices comically backfiring. Indeed it was a funny show to watch.

The Centurions : No matter how dangerous Doc Terror and Hacker's plans were, they were always defeated by the three mech-warriors. Just hearing their phrase is enough to send us back to our childhood. Power Extreme!

Aladdin : Aladdin's team was one lovable bunch. The naughty monkey Abu, the mimicking parrot Lago, and the adorable Genie, the princess Jasmine and Aladdin himself, kept us engrossed for hours on end.

Richie Rich : This show details the various adventures of Richie Rich who belongs to very rich family, his family, and his friends. 

Caption Planet : Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Heart we called the 5 elements every time the planeteers had to call on Captain. And that song! No, you're not going convince us there's a better, catchier and more environmentally friendly cartoon theme song than this one. 

He – man : He-Man was every kid's ideal. And who could forget Cringer, his cowardly lion who would transform into Battle Cat?

Johnney Bravo : Beefcake body, pompadour hairstyle and an Elvis like voice, Johnny Bravo actually taught how “not to” hit on women.  

Looney Toon : The entire Looney Toon brigade was simply, looney! From Sylvester and Tweety to the Coyote and Road runner, every each character was epic in its own right.

  

Mickey Mouse : One of Walt Disney’s more than iconic creations, Mickey Mouse was the undisputed king of India cartoons.

Back in the ‘90s, cartoons not only entertained us, but educated us as well. Pick any cartoon from the 90s, and there is hardly any denying that it will give today’s best cartoon a run for its money.
